JOHN NABER is much more than a champion swimmer. After earning five Olympic medals in 1976, he was honored as the Nation’s outstanding amateur athlete, was inducted into the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Hall of Fame and served as Director and Olympic flag-bearer at the 1984 Games in Los Angeles. He has carried the Olympic Flame as part of four different Olympic Torch Relays.
John was twice elected as the President of the U.S. Olympians and was chosen in a USA Today nationwide poll as the male captain of the “Xerox 100 Golden Olympians,” an all-star collection of the country’s greatest Olympic champions. He is also on the US Olympic and Paralympic Committee Board and is President of the Olympians & Paralympians Relief Fund and the Koroibos Foundation that provides training grants to Olympic and Paralympic hopefuls.
Professionally, he is an “observer of excellence.” He’s met with business and political leaders, and as a television announcer, he’s covered over thirty different Olympic sports, filing reports from ten Olympic Games, both Winter and Summer.
Along the way, John has discovered the method champions in all walks of life use to reach their goals, and he shares this “Olympic Gold Medal Process” with audiences from around the globe. His three books, “Awaken the Olympian Within,” “Eureka: How Innovation Changes the Olympic Games and Everything Else” and “Olympic Trivia Challenge” have earned rave reviews from the Olympic and professional community as well as various best-selling authors and motivators.
