2024 Speaker
Bobby Khorshidi
President & CEO, Archway Capital
BOBBY KHORSHIDI is the founder, principal and president of Archway Capital. In 2016, he established the Los Angeles-based firm to provide short-term financing solutions to commercial real estate sponsors. In the last six years, he has overseen an expansion of the company’s offerings to meet the complex capital needs of the market, building a suite of products that include first-mortgage debt, mezzanine capital and joint equity, all facilitated by a collection of open-ended funds.
As president, Khorshidi is responsible for the company’s loan origination and underwriting business, and he manages investor relations. Throughout his career, he has participated in the origination of hundreds of loans and financial transactions. Under his leadership, Archway Capital and its affiliates are responsible for $6 billion in capital.
Khorshidi has a Bachelor’s degree in anthropology from UCLA, but his impressive acumen for commercial real estate finance comes from 20 years of experience and realized successes. He started his career at Wells Fargo as a mortgage loan processor, and he worked his way to becoming one of the top 20 loan officers in the country, overseeing $1 billion in loan originations. Leveraging his success at Wells Fargo, Khorshidi launched Partners Capital in 2009 to pursue an opportunistic real estate strategy, focusing on value-add investments, short-term bridge financing and non-performing loans.
Khorshidi is regularly invited to speak at industry events and conferences as a financial expert, and he has been quoted in leading industry publications, including GlobeSt.com, Bisnow, The Business Journal and Commercial Observer. In 2011, he was named one of Real Estate Forum’s Forty Under Forty commercial real estate leaders.
A Los Angeles native, Khorshidi serves on the Board of Advisers for UCLA Mattel Children’s Hospital, and he is actively involved with the West Coast chapter of Chai Lifeline, an organization that helps children and families impacted by serious illness. He lives in Los Angeles with his wife and three children.
