MÄDCHEN AMICK came onto the Hollywood scene in the iconic David Lynch directed Twin Peaks cult series. A role she reprised in Showtime’s revival Twin Peaks: The Return. After a long and successful acting career in other award-winning projects, Mädchen has also become a successful writer and director. Along with music videos, documentaries, and her feature film directorial debut - garnering film festival laurels - she has directed several episodes of the long running hit show Riverdale, to which she also stars.
Mädchen uses her global platform to advocate on Capitol Hill and speak at the United Nations for mental healthcare reform. Because of Mädchen and her family’s firsthand experience in a broken mental healthcare system, they founded the non-profit direct-impact Don’t MiND Me Foundation, focusing on making mental healthcare accessible for all. The org’s Crisis Intervention Scholarship Fund provides financial support for individuals in need of primary mental health treatment without payment options. Their new project is the Mental Health Recovery of Palm Springs, a holistic all-inclusive campus with a long term approach to provide all levels of mental healthcare.
